Refund policy

Kooistra.com B.V. sells surplus stock, overstock, customer returns and B-grade goods to businesses only. Below you can read how cancellations, damage, defects and refunds work.

1. Cancellation

  • You can cancel free of charge on the day you place your order, by emailing info@kooistra.com with your order number.
  • If you cancel after dispatch, we charge 20% of the net order value.

2. No right of withdrawal

Because we only supply businesses, there is no statutory right of withdrawal. We do not take back products that were ordered by mistake.

3. Something not right?

Check the consignment as soon as it is delivered. If something is wrong, for example damage, a shortage or the wrong product, report it within 24 hours of delivery by email to info@kooistra.com, with photos and the order number. Also note any visible damage on the consignment note.

A defect you could not see on delivery must be reported within 24 hours of discovering it.

Once you have reported it, we work out a suitable solution with you. That can be a full or partial credit, a replacement delivery, or we collect the goods and arrange the return transport.

4. Surplus stock and B-grade

Surplus stock, customer returns and B-grade goods are supplied in the condition described on the product page or in the quote. A deviation stated there in advance, such as damaged packaging, is not a defect and not grounds for a complaint.

5. Practical details

  • We confirm a complaint within two working days and respond in substance within fourteen days.
  • Refunds always go to the account or payment method that was used to pay.

6. Ordering as a consumer?

Our webshop is intended for businesses. If you order as a consumer anyway, the rights the law gives consumers apply, including the right of withdrawal of 14 days after receipt. In that case, let us know by email at info@kooistra.com, quoting your order number.
