Shipping policy

Kooistra.com B.V. only supplies businesses, in the Netherlands and beyond. A company name is therefore required at checkout.

Delivery or collection

You can have your order delivered or collect it yourself (or have it collected) from our warehouse at Apolloweg 2 in Leeuwarden. You choose this at checkout. Collection is possible Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 17:00 and is always free of charge. We will let you know as soon as your order is ready.

All prices in the webshop are excluding VAT and excluding shipping costs. You can see the shipping costs and VAT in the cart and at checkout, before you pay.

VAT

Netherlands: 21% VAT.
Businesses in another EU country pay no VAT in the webshop: the VAT is reverse-charged (0%). Enter your VAT identification number at checkout; we check it in VIES. If you do not have it to hand, we will ask for it after your order.
Without a valid VAT number we will invoice 21% Dutch VAT afterwards.
Outside the European Union: no Dutch VAT. Import duties, VAT and customs clearance costs in the country of destination are for your account.

Minimum order value

The minimum order value in the webshop is €150 excluding VAT, for both delivery and collection. Higher minimum amounts apply to deliveries abroad, see the table below.

Shipping costs and free delivery

We ship by parcel or by pallet, depending on the size of your order. The following fixed rates per order apply to pallet shipments by haulier:

If your country is not in the table, you can still order in the webshop. You can then only pay by pro forma invoice: you pay nothing when ordering, we send a pro forma invoice including the transport costs, and once it has been paid we get the lot ready. The minimum order value is €1,950 excluding VAT.

Looking for a small order of one or a few outer cartons? Add the products to the quote list and send it, or contact our sales team. We will then agree the delivery in the proposal you receive by email and send a payment link or a pro forma invoice.

Delivery time

We ship once your payment has been received. How long a shipment takes varies by lot, by country and by haulier, so we do not state a fixed number of days in advance. For pallet shipments we will contact you to agree the delivery time. Where possible you will receive a tracking code.

Delivery and risk

Pallet shipments are delivered at street level, to an address that is accessible by lorry.
Please make sure someone is present to receive the shipment.
On receipt, check the number of packages and any visible damage and note any discrepancies on the consignment note. Report damage within 24 hours, with photos, to info@kooistra.com.
If you collect yourself or arrange the transport yourself, the risk passes when the products leave our warehouse. If we engage the haulier, the risk passes on delivery.

Partial deliveries and sold-out items

Lots are available in limited quantities. If a product turns out to be unavailable after you have ordered, we will contact you. You can then choose an alternative, a partial delivery or a refund of the part not delivered. With a partial delivery you do not pay more shipping costs than for a single delivery.
