Kooistra.com buys electronics stock from businesses and has traded in stock lots since 1979. We buy lots of new consumer electronics, small household appliances and accessories from importers, wholesalers, online shops and retailers. You receive a no-obligation offer within 24 hours and we arrange transport to Leeuwarden.
If your business has a lot of new electronics that no longer sells, Kooistra.com buys it in one go. We are talking about overstock, end-of-line models, return lots from online shops and complete shop stock. We do not buy large appliances such as washing machines and fridges, used or broken devices, or stock from private individuals. Send us the brand, type, quantities and photos and you will receive an offer within 24 hours.
An electronics stock buyer takes over lots of electrical devices and accessories from businesses in one go. Kooistra.com takes the whole lot, plans the transport and sells the devices on to retailers and traders. You free up warehouse space and no longer have to sell or mark down items one by one.
Electronics age quickly. A new model makes the previous version worth less within a season, even if it is still boxed. The sooner you sell a lot, the more it usually fetches.
We mainly buy small electronics and small household appliances that no longer fit your own sales, preferably in their original packaging and with a Dutch or European plug. Complete lots of one brand or type fetch the most. For example:
You can see where such a lot ends up in our webshop: the electronics section has devices from earlier lots.
We do not buy large household appliances such as washing machines, dryers, fridges and dishwashers. We also do not take used, broken or discarded devices, used phones and laptops, or stock from private individuals. The same goes for devices without CE marking or of unclear origin. If in doubt, send a photo of the type plate and the packaging.
Discarded electrical devices belong at an approved collection point. In the Netherlands Stichting OPEN organises collection and recycling on behalf of producers, under the Dutch WEEE regulations (Regeling AEEA). If you place devices on the market yourself, the Dutch government's Ondernemersplein explains what you need to do.
For a good offer we need the brand, type or EAN code, quantities and condition of each item: new in box, unopened return or opened return. Photos of the device, the packaging and the type plate help. A stock list from Excel or your till system is fine too.
With return lots, condition makes the biggest difference. State whether the devices have been tested and whether all accessories and manuals are included. Accessories with lithium batteries, such as power banks, fall under the rules for dangerous goods in transport; evofenedex explains what that means. We take this into account when planning the transport.
Selling takes three steps: you offer the lot, you receive an offer within 24 hours and once you agree we plan the transport. For the offer, a list with brand, type and quantities plus a few photos is enough.
The price depends on brand, how recent the model is, the condition of the packaging and the quantities per type. New devices in an unopened box fetch the most; opened returns less, because we have to check them. A lot of one type sells on faster than a mix of single items.
A lot that sits in stock for a long time also costs money on the balance sheet. According to the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) you may value obsolete stock below cost price, provided you can substantiate it. Your accountant can tell you what that means for your figures. Once a lot is sold, you know exactly what the stock brought in.
